I love the outdoors. I know that seems kinda strange coming from someone who also likes to be on the Internet as I do, but hey. I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Parks and Recreation Administration from the University of Memphis. I also have a Master’s Degree in Parks and Resource Management  from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I worked for several seasons as a Law Enforcement Ranger for the National Park Service. And now... Well now I teach backpacking and camping at the University of Memphis. Somehow I was lucky enough to translate my hobbies into my work. Any information that I pass along on this site has passed my approval as something I would use myself.
